I've been in Hapkido for about a year now, and hapkido to me is more than just fighting. It's a whole other set of philosophies and principles I don't think I could live without. It truly teaches me control, discipline, and patience. Take a deep breath hold it and stand up as tall as you can. That's what studying hapkido feels like. People have no Idea how affective, realistic, and aggressive hapkido really is. I can't wait to see where this art will talk me or what it will enable me to do in my future. The best part about it is that it's just plain old mean.
